Sketch Saturday!

Well I had a fantastic time yesterday at the NEC. I bought a lot of goodies and spent a lot of money on 'Magnolia' stamps, Copic markers, charms, buttons and much more. Today I have been at my sisters having a great time playing with our new goodies! Love the Copic markers! They make your images look so much better! Here are some of the cards that I made today and one of them is to the 'Sketch Saturday' layout!

Back at last

Well hello, it has been such a long time since I made any cards or updated my blog as I have been on nights again at work. Eventhough I dont have time to make cards and update my blog I do nip on every now and then to see what everyone has been up to and to jot down the new sketches and layouts for cards. Well today I had some time to make a couple of cards. One which was a layout from sketch satuday in February and one was a layout from my craft magazine which arrived last week. I really enjoyed getting back into it. All though I am back at work tomorrow on another three nights I am really excited about the craft show at the NEC which my sister and her friend are attending on Sunday. Lots of things to buy and ooh and ahh over. I will let you know how we get on. x

Hi everyone. Its seems such a long time ago since I updated my blog so I decided to make some crads this evening and put some pictures on here for you all to see. Please please let me know what you think. I only seem to get comments from my sister and although I really appreciate what she has to say I would like some more opinions. I went craft shopping with my sister over the weekend and again today and even though I purchase loads of nice things I never really know what to do with it when I get back. I am having difficulty thinking of different layouts so if you have any suggestions please let me know and I will give them a go. Thanx.

Back to normality

After finishing my 4 nights at work yesterday morning I eventually felt awake enough to make some cards today. It took me a bit of time to figure out what I was going to do as my brain was still on a "go slow." I got a bit of inspiration from my craft magazine had a look what bits and pieces I had got and hoped for the best. I eventually had to stop when I ran out of double sided tape. I know what you are thinking "how can a serious card maker run out of double sided tape.....?" Well I am afraid I had. I think I will have to make a journey to a craft shop tomorrow to purchase some more. I just hope my bank balance can take it as I tend to get a bit carried away. I will let you know how I get on. I thought it was about time I made some more cards and updated my blog as it has been 1 week since I did anything. I purchased some new stamps over the Internet the other day so I thought I would try them out along with a new layout I found on "sketch Saturday." My sister posted me a lot of goodies today so I will try and make some more cards tomorrow with the new stuff I have been given. Thank you very much Sarah. Watch this space to see what I come up with.

I had a day off from work today so I decided I should make a few more cards using some of the stuff I purchased on Saturday whilst out with my fellow crafters. I had a go at using my new "Hugs" clear stamps which I thought looked quite good. Let me know what you think.
